Dr. Parisa Ghassemi

Dr. Parisa Ghassemi is a dedicated family physician with a strong passion for weight management and cosmetic medicine. Originally from Iran, she relocated to Canada in 2010 to pursue her medical career. Dr. Ghassemi furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Montreal, followed by a residency in family medicine at the University of Sherbrooke. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. Ghassemi completed a fellowship in obesity from the American College of Obesity Medicine. Her practice now focuses on family medicine with a special emphasis on weight management. Additionally, she is licensed in Canadian Aesthetic medicine, enabling her to assist patients in achieving their cosmetic goals through procedures such as Botox and filler injections.

Dr Masoud Sangani

Dr. Sangani is a skilled physician specializing in neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine. After completing medical school in Iran, Dr. Sangani pursued further specialization in the United States, where they completed a fellowship in neurophysiology at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Following this, Dr. Sangani continued their advanced training at McGill University in Montreal, where they completed a fellowship in neurophysiology. Since 2014, Dr. Sangani has been serving as an assistant professor of neurology at Dalhousie University. In December 2022, they took on the role of head of the neuroscience department at Moncton Hospital. With a strong foundation in both clinical and research aspects of neurology, Dr. Sangani is dedicated to providing expert care and advancing the field of neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Sangani is passionate about treating patients with neuromuscular disorders and headaches. He has a particular interest and expertise in administering Botulinum toxin injections for a wide range of conditions, including cervical dystonia, foot dystonia, writer’s cramp, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, sialorrhea, trigeminal neuralgia, hyperhidrosis, spasticity including post-stroke spasticity and spasticity due to the MS and spinal cord injuries, bruxism, TMJ pain, post-herpetic neuralgia, and occipital neuralgia.
